Hilltop Memory Makers is a barn wedding venue located in Coral, Michigan about 34 minutes North of Grand Rapids. It’s located on a large piece of land with nothing but nature surrounding it! 

Closest Airport to Hilltop Memory Makers

The closest airport to Hilltop Memory Makers is Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids. It is 46 minutes away from the venue. If you or some of your guests are flying in for the wedding, I recommend renting a car as our venue is in a smaller town.

And because our venue has such simple details, when you come in for your wedding, you can truly make the space your own with decor and flowers.

5 Beautiful & Unique Ceremony Sites

Another amazing part of Hilltop Memory Makers is that we offer 5 unique wedding ceremony locations to choose from. All of these ceremony sites are outdoors. The ceremony site options include a brick, vintage gate wall, a vine wall, a brown arbor, a corn crib, or a white gazebo. Our staff sets up and tears down the ceremony chairs.

The Property is on 5 Acres of Land

Something that we value and think is so important on a wedding day is privacy. Our venue is much more remote and located on 5 acres of land so you aren’t going to get people walking by and being nosey lol.

Our Michigan barn wedding venue offers a rustic barn which is a beautiful reception space that opens up to an outdoor patio space and dance floor. We love this indoor/outdoor feel so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the property as well!  Our dinner barn seats 144 guests plus a head table.

Another amazing thing about Hilltop Memory Makers is that we have the farmhouse which is completely dedicated to the getting ready spaces for the wedding parties. The farmhouse is thoughtfully appointed to deliver a high degree of comfort and luxury in preparation for your unforgettable day.  Private, custom-designed spaces for both the bride and groom will exceed your every wish and expectation!

And of course, we have to give a shoutout to our amazing staff! We have staff members working all week long to clean and prep for your day and we pride ourselves on communication and authenticity. We are not a one-visit venue, you’re welcome as often as you need to plan your perfect day! Our goal is to be there for you so your wedding day is as close to perfect as it can get!

What is the best time of the year to get married at Hilltop Memory Makers?

All times of the year are absolutely beautiful here. It all depends on the weather you prefer for your big day.

How far in advance should we book Hilltop Memory Makers for our wedding?

We recommend reaching out at least 1 year in advance to give you the best chance at securing your desired date. Spring, summer, and fall dates typically get booked first.

Are there different ceremony site options?

Yes, we have 5 stunning ceremony site options to choose from.

Does the venue have getting-ready spaces for the bridal party?

Yes, we have the farmhouse which has separate spaces for both parties to get ready.

Do you have any tables/chairs/decor pieces included? 

We provide all tables, ceremony, and reception chairs. As well as an entire barn full of decor, props, and extra furniture. Some random items we have include 6 whiskey barrels, 2 large church pews, various table runners, and vintage brass candle holders. Just a few to name!

Do you allow outside wedding vendors?

Yes, we do and we have a ton of recommendations of vendors we can provide you with. We do have required bartenders though – clients pay their fees. You will personally provide the alcohol that you want to be served. All other vendors are up to clients choosing. 

Do you have AC? 

Our dinner barn has AC and heat. We also have 3 patio heaters to place around the dance floor or the bar barn if needed.

How many guests can we have? 

Our dinner barn seats 144 guests plus a head table. So most often our parties are around 100-150 guests. Tents are welcome to add more seating. We have had big parties of up to 300 when guests choose to rent a tent and extra tables/chairs. 

How much is your deposit? 

50% down, 50% due 30 days prior to wedding day. We accept payment plans for the final payment!

Are food trucks allowed? 

We love welcoming food trucks! 


Are yard games allowed? 

Absolutely.

Does the venue offer overnight accommodations for the bride and groom and wedding party?

Our farmhouse has 4 beds and 2 pullout couches for couples to use when booking the weekend / overnight package.

Brick Vintage Gate Wall

The Brick Vintage Gate wall ceremony site has the most rustic feel to it. It is a beautiful pyramid-shaped brick wall and behind it is fields in the background! It is super simple and looks absolutely stunning with some simple florals!

Brown Arbor

The Brown Arbor ceremony site is surrounded by endless views of the surrounding grass areas and nothing else. It is a very intimate and serene ceremony site with a wood arbor which you can decorate with beautiful flowers. 

Corn Crib

Another ceremony site that we offer is the Corn Crib. Surrounded by fields, grass, and trees this a super simple and serene ceremony site. You can really transform it into anything you want.

White Gazebo

Our White Gazebo ceremony site offers a super simple and elegant feel. Its all-white base allows you to truly customize it to your liking by adding flowers and decor. I love this space for a spring or summer wedding as it feels super bright and inviting!

Vine Wall

The Vine Wall ceremony site offers a more rustic feel for your ceremony as the backdrop is our silver barn with these beautiful vines clinging to it. If you’re going for a more rustic feel for your wedding day, then this is a place for your ceremony!

The Dinner Barn

The red barn aka our dinner barn is where we host the start of the reception and dinner. With a timeless and distinctive ambiance, our primitive barn provides a subtle backdrop to compliment your unique style. You can truly make this space your own and bring your dream reception to life.

Outdoor Dance Floor

Right outside of our bar barn, you will find our dance floor! The bar barn opens up to the dance floor where you will see string lights bordering the dance floor. Again, this is a simple space that you can bring to life with flowers and decor!

The Best Time of Year to Get Married at Hilltop Memory Makers

Lucky for you our Michigan barn wedding venue is open from May through November to rent out for your wedding. Each season is beautiful and unique in its own way and it really just depends on what you want for your big day! 

Spring (March-May)

The springtime in Coral, Michigan is a little colder in March and April with highs of 50 degrees and lows of 23 degrees. It warms up quite a bit in May with highs of 71 degrees and lows of 45 degrees. While it’s a little colder in the springtime, it is absolutely stunning. Everything is getting greener and the wildflowers are starting to bloom! 

Summer (June-August)

The summertime here in Michigan is absolutely beautiful and the weather is warm. The highs usually reach around 82 degrees and the lows range from the mid to high 50s. You can’t go wrong with a summer wedding at Hilltop Memory Makers. 

Fall (September-November)

Okay, who doesn’t love a fall wedding?? I just feel like a rustic and chic barn wedding venue is the perfect setting for one! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is cooling down making this a stunning time of the year to get married.
